I am providing a consultation service for anyone suffering hair loss or scalp health concerns,
I am here to support you every step of the way providing effective diagnosis, advice on treatments as well as emotional support. Together we will go on a journey to not only restore a healthier scalp and thicker fuller hair but also your confidence. A large proportion of conditions can be successfully managed and treated, in some cases, cured. Your first appointment will be an hour-long full consultation including an examination of the hair and scalp. We can meet at the salon or online. (For privacy the salon will have restricted access during your consultation) Follow up appointments at a later date will help us measure the progress made.
I have always been interested in hair loss and scalp conditions and I had the opportunity to widen my knowledge, so I took the plunge and studied to become a Trichologist. I am a fully qualified Trichologist and member of The Association of Registered Trichologists. I also hold a level 3 hairdressing qualification, teaching and assessor certificates and over 28 years’ experience on the salon floor as a hairdresser. I own Alan's Hairdressing in Wetheral on the outskirts of Carlisle. I can help with many concerns including, female and male hair loss, thinning hair, Alopecia and Scalp conditions such as psoriasis and dandruff.
